Stetson University College of Law offers over 25 clinic and internship programs for students to gain real-world legal experience while remaining under the guidance of Stetson faculty.

Each year, Stetson places more than 300 students in off-campus locations where they perform a broad range of legal duties for hosting organizations. Hosting organizations include courts, government agencies, corporations, and legal aid organizations. For more information on Stetson's clinic and internship opportunities, read the new Student Guidebook for Clinic and Internship Programs (PDF).

Beyond providing a strong foundation in legal doctrine, Stetson’s academic curriculum allows students to distinguish themselves through clinical programs, skills courses, and concentration and dual-degree programs for practice in specialized areas of law.

Stetson has established itself as a national leader in the areas of advocacy, elder law, higher education law and policy, and international law through its Centers for Excellence. The centers advance legal developments in these subject areas through conferences, workshops, research projects and scholarship.
