STETSON'S SUPPLEMENTAL BAR PREPARATION PROGRAMS

Twice a year, Stetson College of Law presents free, supplemental bar programming. One program includes an overview of the Florida Bar Examination, including frequently tested topics and scoring. Another weekend program focuses on the MBE, with an emphasis on Evidence. A third program includes administration of a mock Florida law examination. In addition, several Stetson professors typically volunteer to present "mini courses" on frequently tested Florida topics. Please watch your e-mail for additional information on these opportunities.

Starting in Fall 2005, Stetson also will employ a Director of Academic Development who will administer other special programs and will work individually with a limited number of students who may be at risk to fail the bar.

In addition, each semester Stetson faculty and administrators present mandatory bar information sessions for 2L students so they will be able to better plan for the examination.

Again, we urge Stetson students to be proactive and to take advantage of these opportunities.
