March 12, 2002:  ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.- - Darlene L. Kelly has been named Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Stetson University College of Law. Ms. Kelly will coordinate alumni events and activities and work with the College Relations Office to enhance endowment and development efforts.

"I am very pleased to appoint Ms. Kelly to this position. She brings with her a tremendous knowledge base as we prepare to launch new programs within our College Relations Office," said Stetson University College of Law Dean Gary Vause.

Ms. Kelly joined Stetson in August 1999 as Associate Director of Alumni and Public Relations.

Prior to Stetson, Ms. Kelly served as Executive Director of the St. Petersburg Bar Association from 1996 to 1999, and worked for more than ten years with the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and The Florida Bar.

She received a B.S. degree in Criminology from Florida State University and an A.S. and A.A. from St. Petersburg Junior College. She is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and currently serves as secretary and board member for their alumni association. She is a native of St. Petersburg.
