Stetson University College of Law

March 10, 2003:  Gulfport, Fla. - Two of Florida's top officials with the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) will discuss immigration and alien rights during a guest appearance at Stetson University College of Law on Wednesday, March 12, at noon in Stetson's Great Hall.

Jack Bulger, acting director of Florida BCIS in Miami, and Kristen Holland, acting officer in charge of the Tampa District will review administrative changes that began on March 1st when the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) transitioned into the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The event is co-sponsored by the Hispanic Bar Association, the International Law Society, and the Office of International Programs. The presentation is open to the public but reservations are required. Please RSVP to Stetson's Calendar and Events Office at 727-562-7898. Seating is limited.
