May 7, 2002: St. Petersburg, Fla. - St. Petersburg, Fla. - Bernard A. Krooks, a nationally recognized elder law attorney and incoming President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, NAELA, will speak at a Stetson University College of Law during a seminar designed to address financial, legal and health care issues affecting the elderly. The seminar, How to Build an Elder Care Practice, will take place Friday on Stetson's campus. "This program focuses specifically on elder law attorneys and CPAs and how they work as part of a team in solving the client's problem," said Professor Rebecca Morgan, Boston Asset Management Distinguished Professor of Law and director of the Center for Excellence in Elder Law at Stetson. Bernard A. Krooks is the managing partner of the law firm Littman Krooks & Roth P.C. with offices in New York City and White Plains, N.Y. He has appeared on National Public Radio, NBC and CBS evening news, as well as numerous publications. Lauchlin T. Waldoch, chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law section is among a field of experts joining Krooks at the seminar.
