MUNICIPAL CODES

The following sites provide excellent compilations of municipal code resources on the Internet:
Municipal law is truly one of the greatest sources available on the net -- because it can be so hard to find otherwise!  Large legal databases, even LEXIS and Westlaw, still concentrate primarily on state and federal law, and have little if any material regarding city and county codes.  On the three sites listed here, however, you very well might find the city or county code that you need.

Municipalities are adding their ordinances to the web more and more.  If you aren't able to find the ordinances that you need, try checking for an official city web site, or a county page for the place you want; possibly that site might have added the ordinances too.

Many of these codes, including the ones on the web sites, are in Folio Infobases. For tips on using these infobases, see here.
