Teams from China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Mongolia, Guam, and Saipan must participate in the East Asia Regional Round to advance to the International Finals.
Other East Asian and South Asian countries will be allowed to participate at East Asia Regionals in Seoul.

Competition: Nov. 27 - Dec. 1, 2012
Registration deadline: Nov. 10, 2012
Memos due: Nov. 16, 2012

There is a planned cap of 28 teams. This will be determined on a first registered basis.
Registration fee is $250 per team.
Teams that apply after the cap is reached will be determined on a case-by-case basis, pending capacity.
