Center for Excellence in International Law
The Center for Excellence in International Law has the goal of helping to educate men and women who not only will serve ethically and competently in the practice of law and related professions, but who will contribute to making a better world. Opportunities to study and teach abroad further enable our students and faculty members to experience first hand legal systems around the world.

Explore Your Horizons
See the world while earning class credit in one of Stetson's many study abroad programs. In an increasingly global society, Stetson Law enables you to discover new lands and foreign legal systems through international coursework.
For more information, see Study Abroad section at left, contact the International Programs Office, or see Study Abroad FAQ (PDF). Important Note: Stetson community members traveling abroad are required to view a series of international travel safety videos.
Stetson also has formal agreements with the Universidad de Granada in Granada, Spain; Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo in Monterrey, Mexico; and, Université de Toulouse, Toulouse, France, for students to attend law school for up to one year at one of these institutions.
Attention Non-Stetson Students
Non-Stetson students should be aware that it is unlikely that participation in a summer program may be used to result in an acceleration of their graduation date. Students interested in acceleration should consult their home school and the relevant rules of the American Bar Association, including Standard 304, Interpretation 304-4.
Stetson students can also receive credit with non-Stetson study abroad programs.
