Lieutenant Commander Nieva M.S. Brock, who serves as staff judge advocate and ethics counselor to the director of NCIS, presented the commencement speech at Stetson Law's Gulfport campus on May 12, 2012.
Lieutenant Commander Brock is an expert in the military rule of law. She has taught courses on classified information to prosecutors and defense counsel in all military services and provided training for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Protecting Children Online.
Brock’s distinguished military career includes volunteering for Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving as staff judge advocate and ethics counselor for the director of the NCIS, and providing support around-the-clock to special agents working on criminal investigations around the globe.
