Merit Scholarships

Merit scholars are selected based on undergraduate G.P.A., LSAT scores and other achievements. Scholarships may include an award of up to full tuition with a $500 per semester stipend. Many scholarships are named in honor of donors who have contributed to the law school. A separate application is not required.

Diversity Scholarships

Stetson University College of Law strives to create a diverse student body. Personal attributes or experiences that may be considered for diversity purposes include but are not limited to geographic background; success in overcoming adversity and economic or social disadvantage; race or ethnicity; age; sexual orientation; the first generation in a family to attend college; or any other diverse experiences an applicant feels would add to the law school experience. All admitted applicants will be considered for this scholarship. No separate application or statement is required, although the Admissions Committee would appreciate applicants addressing these matters in their personal statements.

American Bar Association Legal Opportunity Scholarships:

This scholarship is intended to provide resources to increase the number of racial and ethnic minority students into the legal profession. The scholarship amount is $5,000 and is renewable for up to three years. Detailed information can be obtained by contacting the American Bar Association at (312) 988-5927.
