REFUND / WITHDRAW POLICY

If you withdraw from the University, you may be eligible for a percentage refund of previously paid charges. The Stetson University College of Law Bulletin outlines the refunds that will be made. The official withdrawal date will determine the amount of any pro rata refund.

For students who have received financial assistance under any of the Title IV Federal programs, the portion remaining after Stetson deducts the amount it has retained under the University’s refund policy will be returned to the Title IV Programs in compliance with federal regulations.

Funds due to be repaid to financial assistance programs will be distributed in the following order: Federal Graduate PLUS, Federal Stafford Unsubsidized, Federal Perkins, Federal Stafford Subsidized, or institutional aid. Any remaining funds will be returned to the student minus any unpaid financial obligations to the University.
