Financial Aid for LL.M. Students

Types of Financial Aid Available & Steps for Applying:

U.S. Students: Federal Stafford loans are available LLM students who apply for federal aid on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students may qualify for $8,500 in subsidized and $12,000 in unsubsidized loans every two semesters, i.e. fall/spring. Graduate PLUS are credit-based loans and are available. Private credit-based loans are available to cover additional expenses up to the cost of education.

Non-U.S. Students: Private credit based loans are available to cover the cost of education. You must provide a social security number and a creditworthy cosigner who is a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident. You may wish to check with several lenders to compare interest rates and fees.

LL.M. Tuition Scholarship

A limited number of partial tuition scholarships are available to applicants who show special need or promise of special achievement.

Your request should accompany your application for admission, and will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee upon the student's acceptance in the program.
