Marleen O'Connor's scholarship has focused on the broad topic of "employees and corporate governance." She has argued that directors should owe a fiduciary duty to workers as well as shareholders. Professor O'Connor has examined how American unions are using their pension power to make gains for workers. She has advocated for voluntary disclosure guidelines for human resource values. Professor O'Connor teaches corporate law and law and economics at Stetson University College of Law. She graduated from Duke University School of Law.
