Due to the high level of demand and a limited amount of space, our Friday “Boot Camp” and Saturday Pre-Conference Workshop on Title IX and the SaVE Act are now closed to further registrations. We thank you for your interest and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is still space available in the Main Conference and the Tuesday Post-Conference Workshop on Care and Threat Assessment Teams. However, both of these events are also rapidly filling up, so we encourage you to register soon before these events reach maximum capacity.

	Peter Lake releases new book Conference Chair Professor Peter Lake’s new book, Foundations of Higher Education Law and Policy: Basic Legal Rules, Concepts and Principles for Student Affairs, has officially been released. Be sure to secure a signed copy at the Conference in Orlando.
	Jonathan R. Alger elected James Madison University president The Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy is proud to announce that our friend and advisory board member Jonathan Alger has been named president of James Madison University.
	Keynote Speaker: Professor Fred Bonner II "Diverse Millennial Students in College: Implications for Faculty and Student Affairs" The National Conference on Law and Higher Education is proud to announce that Professor Fred Bonner from Texas A&M University will be this conference’s keynote speaker. Following his presentation, Professor Bonner will join a panel of renowned experts to further discuss.
	Honorary Co-Chair: Miriam McKendall Miriam McKendall, member of the International Advisory Board for the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy and long-time friend of the Center and National Conference, will serve as this conference’s honorary co-chair. McKendall is a partner at the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP and is a member of the firm’s education law, labor and employment law, and litigation groups.
