Summer courses at Stetson Law can help students get ahead with an array of course options. Evening, weekend, and condensed summer classes allow students to earn credit while still leaving time for summer work or travel plans. Courses are offered from May-July (with varying start-end times).
NOTE: Application deadline for visiting students is May 1.

Each summer, Stetson Law offers courses that we consider to be special opportunities. This summer's featured courses include Professor Janice McClendon’s Federal Taxation I course in Tampa on a condensed basis and Professor Steve Everhart’s Trial Advocacy I course in Gulfport.

Student borrowers will need to fill out a summer aid request form, which can be obtained from the Office of Admissions and Student Financial Planning.


Featured Course: Trial Advocacy with Professor Everhart

media/everhart-tn.jpgThe Trial Advocacy course is one of the signature Stetson Law experiences, and students have the opportunity to take the course this summer from Professor Stephen Everhart, who helped Stetson earn its number one advocacy ranking. Professor Everhart is a former prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer (where he handled death penalty cases) who later opened a high-stakes personal injury firm handling medical malpractice, products liability, and other high-end civil litigation.
