The Center for Excellence in Advocacy helped Stetson achieve its place as one of the top law schools in America for trial advocacy, ranked first in the specialty by the 2006 edition of the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools.
The Center for Excellence in Advocacy also hosted a national tournament for the American Mock Trial Association, which brought more than 400 undergraduates on trial teams from 34 colleges and universities to Stetson. The event showcased Stetson's advocacy programs and served as an effective recruiting tool.
The College's other Centers for Excellence in Elder Law, and International Law and Business each sponsor conferences, continuing legal education education presentations, competitions, and other events within their respective areas.
